The Chippewa Township Fire Department Explorers program is one of a kind. It offers the unique opportunity for students from all surrounding high schools to experience the thrill of being a fire fighter while teaching the basics of fire safety, fire fighting techniques, and equipment management.

Each member of the explorers program is trained by real fire fighters to not only fight fires, but how to search and rescue, CPR, water flow management, truck operations, and much more.
